London Design Week 2026
Alison Davidson, Editor of The English Home and Jools Cornell, Founder of Pukka Print.
To celebrate London Design Week 2026 at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, Jools Cornell was joined by The English Home magazine’s editor Alison Davidson for an Access All Areas talk at our treasure-trove London showroom, Tissus d'Hélène.
Hosted by Helen Cormack, Jools and Alison delved into the history of hand block printing in India and Helen presented some lovely scheming ideas with our new Bagh Collection.
This inspiring talk touched on the Mughal interiors and architecture which inspire Pukka Print’s collections, the arrival of Indian chintzes in Europe in the 17th century and the effect this had, right through to decorating with hand block prints in contemporary interiors.
It was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the extraordinary talent of the Pukka Print team in Jaipur and show the quality of their craftsmanship in creating our signature intricate designs with layers of pattern and colour.
Huge thanks to Helen and the team at Tissus d'Hélène, and everyone who came along to support!
